Resumen: Edward "Ted" Heppenstall (1901-1994) is the most influential Seventh-day Adventist theologian of the twentieth century. As a leader, teacher, preacher, and author, Heppenstall presented a Christ-centered message that encouraged each listener and reader to live a faithful Christian walk in a personal relationship with God. Heppenstall's theological contributions to the Seventh-day Adventist Church profoundly influenced and shaped the core doctrines of the church to meet the challenges of a new era. He had a front row seat as the church navigated the headwinds of doctrinal conflict beginning in the 1950s with the meetings that resulted in the publication of Questions on Doctrine. His voice was heard in response to outside criticism arising from those meetings and as a participant in the later Glacier View conference. His legacy continues in what the Adventist Church teaches and preaches today. -- Publisher description.
